Description:

A shop manager in a take away food shop needs to plan catering services and direct staff. They also need to verify the quality of food, beverages and maintain hygiene standards at all times. They need to plan and arrange food preparation in collaboration with other staff and check that supplies are being used properly to prevent wastage and losses. They need to train staff in accordance with company rules and ensure that any and all customer complaints are dealt with. They also need to track sales and report to hierarchy about the sales figures.

Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the shop, including inventory management, customer service, and staff supervision.
- Ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Oversee scheduling and time management for employees.
- Handle administrative tasks such as record keeping, reporting, and maintaining documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues.
- Train and mentor new employees to ensure they are knowledgeable about products and services.

Experience:
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably in a retail or similar setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure smooth operations and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in administrative tasks such as record keeping, reporting, and documentation.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills to interact with customers and employees.

Pay: 26,000.00-30,000.00 per year
