This is a dynamic role that will involve checking off goods in to ensure that they are correct, organising stocking areas, replenishing stock within the shop area and liaising with the branch manager in regards to changing display areas and keeping the shop looking presentable.
You will also be a friendly face of our Trade Sales Counter, serving on the counter and making sure our customers feel valued and provide excellent customer service. You will also be responsible for any duties to ensure the branch is running effectively.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities - Goods In
Checking off deliveries against the corresponding paperwork
Ensuring Goods are put away promptly
Ensure the correct stock locations are maintained
Maintain stock levels within the shop area
Main Responsibilities - Customer Service
Greeting, serving and assisting customers
Providing customers with advice and guidance on product selection
Quoting and liaising with customers
Taking cash and card payments
Taking, making and returning phone calls
Managing sales ledgers
Main Responsibilities - Branch Administration
Balancing cash registers with receipts
Ordering stock as requested
Stock taking and stock checks
Loading and unloading deliveries
Keeping the store clean and tidy
Keeping showroom restocked/merchandised
Keeping up to date with promotions updating displays
Willing to perform any duties as may be deemed necessary or as may be required by the Company
