We operate in the grocery sector under the SuperValu & Centra symbols, with Circle-K petrol pumps on the forecourt. Our SuperValu Portadown store incorporates a Post Office, Deli & Butchery alongside the shop offering. We have been serving our local community in this store for over 30 years.

Due to continued expansion & opening of another store in Portadown, we are looking for a Shop Floor Supervisor to join our team at Wilson's SuperValu Portadown. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that our standards for food quality and customer service are met while leading a team of 4-6 shop assistants every shift.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations to ensure efficiency and high-quality service. Manage 4-6 team members each shift, fostering a positive work environment. Keyholder duties including opening & closing the store Counting & Balancing the Till Drawers of your team members Coordinate with other departments (Deli, Butchery, Post Office) to ensure efficient operations

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the retail or food industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Shift Patterns

The successful applicant will work an equal amount of

6am-2:30pm

and

2:30-10:30pm

shifts. You will slot into our popular rotational rota; this is a 3 weekly cycle which will see you work 5 shifts each week.

In each 3-week cycle you will have a long weekend off (Finish 2:30pm Friday, back to work Tuesday AM) which is popular among our supervisors, as it is ideal for making plans. Full details of shift pattern will be available at interview stage.
