Shop Supervisor & Events Co-ordinator - Beer Central
Sheffield | 18+ hours per week (Weds & Thurs availability essential, plus occasional weekends)
Beer Central is more than a craft beer shop - it's a community hub for people who love flavour, discovery and great conversation. We're now looking for a
highly skilled and motivated Shop Supervisor & Events Co-ordinator
to help us grow that community, elevate our brand presence, and create memorable experiences for our customers.
What you'll do
Lead from the front
- supervising shop operations with excellent customer service and ensuring smooth day-to-day running.
Build our community
- plan and host in-store and external events (tastings, tap takeovers, collaborations, festivals, etc.) that connect people with Beer Central.
Collaborate creatively
- forge partnerships with other local businesses and suppliers to extend Beer Central's reach.
Grow the brand
- deliver innovative, unconventionalsocial media activity that reflects our personality and cuts through the noise.
Engage our customers
- inspire regulars and newcomers alike with your craft beer knowledge and approachable style.
What we're looking for
Proven customer-facing experience
- confident, engaging and professional.
Events and/or marketing experience
- ideally with a track record of delivering successful, creative campaigns or community-led events.
Organisational flair
- able to manage multiple projects, from supervising the shop floor to running events.
Passion for craft beer
- whether you're a seasoned enthusiast or simply keen to learn, you'll bring genuine interest and excitement to the role.
Flexibility
- available every Wednesday and Thursday, plus occasional weekends for events. Minimum of 18 hours per week, with additional hours linked to events.
