Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Shopkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily shop operations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to analyse sales trends, and a knack for upselling products to enhance the shopping experience.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs. Maintain an organised and clean shop environment. Manage inventory levels and restock shelves as necessary. Process transactions accurately using the till system. Upsell products by effectively communicating their benefits to customers. Analyse sales data to identify trends and improve sales strategies. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the shop.

Skills

Proficient in English, with strong verbal communication skills. Experience in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities. Ability to analyse data effectively for informed decision-making. Multilingual capabilities are advantageous; proficiency in Spanish is a plus. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer calls professionally. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour
