Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shopkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations within the shop, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all customers. This role requires strong communication skills, an ability to analyse sales data, and a flair for upselling products to enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of UMN2P Retailers.

Handle all sales transactions at the till, including cash and card payments

Maintain inventory levels, monitor and replenish shelves and order items as needed.

Keep the store clean and organised at all times and greet customers with a friendly smile.

Ensure that customers receive excellent service at all times.

Monitor the store's product stock and conduct regular stock checks.

Ensure that sales are conducted in accordance with the store's safety, health, and off-license regulations.

Ensure that all sales procedures are followed, particularly the sale of alcohol and tobacco products to persons under the age of 18.

Requirements

Proven experience in retail or customer service roles is preferred. Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is highly desirable. Ability to upsell products effectively through engaging interactions with customers. Previous experience in a retail or convenience store setting is essential. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written. Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, evenings, and variable shifts. Ability to work well independently and within a team. Strong organisational and customer service skills
