Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Manager to oversee operations in a senior care facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in assisted living, patient care, and managing teams in a healthcare setting. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to providing high-quality care, and the ability to foster a supportive environment for both staff and residents.

Duties

Oversee daily operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Oversee the Short Breaks day to day Build partnerships with LA and families Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of care. Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual ' needs, Coordinate with healthcare professionals for medication administration and patient assessments. Provide support in caregiving tasks such as meal preparation, behaviour management, and heavy lifting when necessary. Facilitate communication between adult, families, and staff to ensure a collaborative approach to care. Maintain accurate records of day to day and facility operations. Promote a positive atmosphere that encourages social interaction among residents.

Experience

Proven experience in short breaks Background in learning needs or care preferred. Familiarity with first aid procedures and emergency response protocols. Experience in home care settings is an advantage. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with residents, families, and team members. A valid driving licence is desirable for transportation needs within the community.
