Shoryu Manchester is our first ramen bar outside London bringing authentic Hakata tonkotsu ramen to the good folk of Manchester. Located in the city centre, the restaurant is a short walk from Manchester Piccadilly Station and the Northern Quarter.
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Back of House Staff to join our dynamic team. As a vital part of our establishment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering high-quality service behind the scenes.
Duties
Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the kitchen team
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and storage areas
Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and properly maintained
Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Support the team during peak service times by assisting with various tasks as needed
Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing deliveries
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless service
Skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
Basic knowledge of food safety practices is preferred, but training will be provided
Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members
Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is an advantage but not essential
