Job Description

Due to increasing workloads Xiom are looking for EXPERIENCED shot-blasters to join our team on-site in Forfar, Angus in workshop. This position would suit someone local to the area. Please note this is NOT an offshore position, this is a full time position based in Forfar, Angus, DD8 1TD. Applicants without experience will not be considered.

Applicants must have experience in blasting using chilled iron, alu-oxide and crushed glass and be able to identify between SA 2/2.5/3.

The range of components requiring blasting will differ between steel containers/frames through to intricate subsea blocks/tool parts so candidates must have good attention to detail and a knowledge of masking prior to blasting.

Job role will also include maintenance of blast room, masking/de-masking, handling of parts etc so experience is essential.
