Lings Triumph Essex is looking for a confident, well-presented Showroom Assistant to join our dealership team. This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role working across Sales, Aftersales, Clothing, Marketing and general showroom operations. You'll be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, helping them get the information they need quickly and professionally.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience
Deliver a professional meet-and-greet for all showroom visitors.
Provide bike specs, pricing and availability information.
Hand customers over to Sales Executives for finance, test rides, negotiations and deposits.
Support Aftersales by advising on service costs, workshop availability, tyre/MOT bookings and basic queries.
Telephone Handling
Answer incoming sales and service calls promptly and professionally.
Handle routine enquiries including workshop bookings, service questions and basic sales queries.
Complete call lists for service retention and lost sales follow-ups.
Clothing & Accessories
Take ownership of the dealership's clothing department performance.
Maintain stock levels, merchandising and displays to Triumph standards.
Proactively drive clothing sales in line with monthly targets set by the Business Manager.
Marketing & Social Content
Photograph new and used bikes for website listings.
Clean, prep and present bikes prior to photographs to ensure premium listing quality.
Create simple, engaging content for clothing, accessories, sales and aftersales.
Support promotional themes such as "Bike of the Week" and "Triumph Tuesdays".
Ensure all showroom bikes have accurate and up-to-date price tickets.
Aftersales Support
Support workshop reception by assisting customers with basic queries.
Assist with parts picking for workshop jobs when required, ensuring accuracy and timely handover to technicians.
Help maintain smooth communication between customers, the workshop and Aftersales Advisors.
Showroom Standards
Keep all display bikes clean and well-presented.
Maintain a tidy, organised and professional showroom environment.
Sales Support
Step in to complete full bike sales when other team members are unavailable.
Earn commission on any units sold directly (excluding advertising commission).
What We're Looking For
Strong communication and customer-service skills
Confident, professional, and well-presented
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable multitasking across Sales, Aftersales and general showroom work
Interest in motorcycles (industry experience is helpful but not essential)
Basic content-creation skills for social media (photos, reels, short videos)
Proactive, reliable, and able to work without constant supervision
Package
22,000 basic salary
200/month clothing performance bonus
50/month CSI bonus
5 per used bike sold
OTE: approx. 26,200 per year

Tuesday to Saturday
08:30 - 17:30
