We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable

Shunter Driver

to join our team at our site in

. This is a

permanent position

As a Shunter Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and trailers around the yard, ensuring all operations run smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

Safely move HGVs, trailers, and other vehicles within the yard and loading areas. Ensure all trailers are correctly positioned for loading and unloading. Conduct basic vehicle checks before and after movements. Liaise with warehouse, transport, and yard teams to coordinate vehicle movements. Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times. Complete all required documentation accurately. Report any vehicle defects or yard hazards promptly.

Requirements

licence preferred (or yard shunter experience). Previous experience as a

Shunter Driver or Yard Operative

essential. Good understanding of

health and safety

in a transport environment. Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work overtime when required.
