Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Shuttering Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, with experience in both residential and commercial projects. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as a solid understanding of building codes and safety regulations. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing shuttering. Ideally able to install rebar & concrete.

Duties

Construct, install Shuttering formwork Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications. Measure, cut, and shape wood, according to project requirements. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project completion on time. Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Carpenter. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various tools safely. Familiarity with welding techniques is advantageous. Experience in roofing projects is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks when necessary. Valid commercial driving licence is a plus for transporting materials to job sites. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
