Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual for the position of Shuttering Carpenter. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various construction and carpentry tasks, demonstrating proficiency in timber shutters. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively on-site.

Duties

Making and placing timber shutters on site. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various construction activities. Read drawings to ensure accurate implementation of designs. Engage in concrete forming, rebar installation, and other foundational tasks as required. Participate in roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, and masonry project Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction with a focus on carpentry skills. Familiarity with construction site operations and safety regulations. Ability to lift heavy materials as needed throughout the workday. Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials used in construction. A CSCS Card is essential.
