Overview

We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent observational skills, a calm demeanour, and a strong commitment to maintaining a secure environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where attention to detail and proactive security measures are essential. All positions are paid, including internship opportunities.

Duties

Monitor entry and exit points to verify identification and ensure authorised access only Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or hazards Utilise CCTV surveillance systems to observe activity within and around the venue Implement loss prevention strategies by recognising suspicious behaviour and intervening appropriately Respond swiftly and effectively to any incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid if necessary Enforce venue policies and procedures in a professional manner Record incident reports accurately and maintain detailed logs of daily activities Collaborate with security team members to uphold high standards of safety and customer service

Experience

Prior experience in security, surveillance, or loss prevention is desirable but not essential; training will be provided where necessary Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques is advantageous Certification in first aid or emergency response is preferred but not mandatory; training can be arranged for suitable candidates Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Strong communication skills with a professional approach to dealing with the public and colleagues Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or unsociable shifts as required

Pay: 12.27-16.05 per hour
