About the Role

Equipt Security Group Ltd is seeking a professional and experienced Door Supervisor to join our team at The Bank, Westhoughton's premier gin and cocktail bar. Located in a beautifully refurbished historic building, The Bank offers a vibrant nightlife experience with DJ performances on weekends and live music on Sundays. As a Door Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our patrons.

Key Responsibilities

Manage entry and exit points, ensuring only suitable patrons are admitted

Check IDs and verify customer suitability in compliance with licensing laws

Conduct searches as required

Monitor venue capacity and manage crowd control

Patrol the venue to ensure adherence to venue policies

Handle incidents professionally, including conflict resolution and liaising with emergency services when necessary

Maintain a high level of vigilance and awareness of potential security risks

Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Door Supervisor in bars or nightclubs

Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence

Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work qualification (or equivalent)

Strong decision-making skills under pressure

Excellent communication skills with a clear command of English

Smart, presentable appearance

Own transport is essential

Working Hours

Fridays and Saturdays: 20:00 to 01:30

Some Bank Holidays

Compensation

Hourly rate:

13.10 to 15.68 (depending on experience)

Paid weekly

Immediate start available
