Overview

We are seeking a dedicated AD HOC vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises. Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid or CPR when necessary. Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor activities within the premises and document any unusual occurrences. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing detailed reports on incidents as needed. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property. Manage conflicts effectively, ensuring that all interactions are handled professionally and calmly. Maintain accurate records of daily activities and incidents for reporting purposes.

Qualifications

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques is essential; certification is a plus. Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and conflict management strategies is highly desirable. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and attentive at all times. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations. A valid security license may be required depending on state regulations.
