Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Door Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security within our premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for all patrons while effectively managing any potential risks. This position requires strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Duties

Monitor the entrance and exit points of the venue to ensure the safety of guests and staff. Conduct thorough checks of identification to verify the age of patrons. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and ensure the integrity of the establishment. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary. Utilise surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to monitor activities within and around the venue. Collaborate with local law enforcement when required and maintain accurate incident reports. Enforce venue policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Assist in training new staff on safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a security or supervisory role is preferred. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and practices. Certification in first aid is highly desirable. Familiarity with surveillance systems, particularly CCTV operations. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
