We are currently recruiting 1 SIA Licensed Door Supervisor to join our team for Christmas events and festive markets in the Knutsford area throughout the holiday season.

SHIFT DETAILS:

Saturday 15th November 12:00pm - 8:00pm

Saturday 29th November 11:00am - 17:00pm

Sunday 30th November 11:00am - 16:00pm

Job Summary

As a Door Supervisor for Opera Security, you will:

Provide a visible and professional security presence at Christmas markets, light trails, and festive events Monitor entry points and manage queues in a polite, efficient manner Ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, staff, and vendors Conduct bag checks or searches where required Manage conflict calmly and respectfully using effective communication and de-escalation skills Liaise with Opera Security management, event organisers, and emergency services when necessary

Requirements

? A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
? Excellent communication and customer service skills
? Smart, professional appearance suitable for public-facing events
? Ability to stay calm and confident under pressure
? Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during the festive period

? First Aid qualification is required for this role

Desirable

? Previous experience in event or festival security
? Knowledge of Health & Safety and crowd management
