Job Summary

We are seeking 2 vigilant and professional Door Supervisors to join our team in Crewe. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patrons and staff at our venue. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to handle challenging situations calmly, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the venue, ensuring only authorised individuals are permitted entry. Conduct regular surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems to identify potential security risks. Respond promptly to incidents, including disputes or emergencies, utilising first aid skills when necessary. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage within the venue. Maintain a visible presence to deter anti-social behaviour and ensure compliance with venue policies. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents. Prepare detailed reports on any incidents or irregularities that occur during shifts.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a security role is preferred, particularly in a supervisory capacity. Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques, including the use of CCTV systems. First aid certification is advantageous; willingness to undergo training is essential. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people. Strong observational skills with attention to detail, capable of identifying potential risks quickly. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally.
