Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through effective surveillance and loss prevention techniques. Responsibilities
- Monitor entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access.
- Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity within and around the premises.
- Enforce security policies and procedures consistently to minimize theft, disorder, or any unlawful activity.
- Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering first aid when necessary.
- Conduct regular patrols of the venue to identify potential security risks or hazards.
- Liaise with local authorities or emergency services when required.
- Maintain detailed incident reports and logs for future reference.
- Assist with crowd control during events or busy periods to ensure a safe environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or security roles is advantageous.
- Familiarity with CCTV operation and monitoring systems.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally.
- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Good understanding of nightlife environments and a customer-first approach.
- First aid certification is desirable but not essential; training can be provided if necessary.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
