Overview

We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. Duties

Monitor entry and exit points to verify identification and manage access control effectively. Conduct regular surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems to identify any suspicious activity. Implement loss prevention strategies by observing customer behaviour and preventing theft or unauthorised access. Respond swiftly and appropriately to incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid when necessary. Enforce venue policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain a visible security presence to deter potential misconduct or disturbances. Record detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with team members and management.

Requirements

Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or security roles is desirable. Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques. Valid security licence or certification as recognised by local regulations. First aid certification is highly advantageous. Excellent observational skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or public holidays as required.
