Responsibilities

Monitor entry and exit points to control access and prevent unauthorised entry Conduct thorough surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems Enforce security protocols to prevent theft, loss, or disturbances Provide assistance in emergency situations, including administering first aid when necessary Maintain a visible presence to deter potential troublemakers and ensure a safe environment Record incidents accurately in security logs and communicate effectively with team members Assist with crowd control during events or busy periods to ensure smooth operations Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and address any security concerns

Skills

Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or security roles is desirable Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure during incidents or emergencies Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail First aid certification or willingness to undertake training is advantageous Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Organised with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently Physical fitness to patrol large areas and respond swiftly when required
