We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent observational skills, a calm demeanour, and a strong sense of responsibility. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment while providing exceptional customer service. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting with a focus on safety, surveillance, and loss prevention.
Duties
Monitor entry and exit points to verify identification and maintain control of access
Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity within and around the premises
Enforce security protocols to prevent unauthorised access and minimise theft or disorder
Respond promptly to incidents, disputes, or emergencies with professionalism and composure
Carry out regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or hazards
Assist with crowd control during events or busy periods, ensuring smooth flow of visitors
Provide first aid assistance when necessary, adhering to health and safety regulations
Maintain detailed logs of incidents, visitor numbers, and any unusual activity for reporting purposes
Skills
Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or security roles is highly desirable
Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
Strong observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious behaviour quickly
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanour
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations tactfully
First aid certification is preferred but not essential; training can be provided if required
Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods and respond swiftly when needed
