About the Role

KC Security Group is currently recruiting experienced and professional Door Supervisors to join our team in Pontypool South Wales. Due to client requirements, we are seeking individuals with a strong presence, excellent communication skills, and a minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in the security industry.

We are looking for confident, reliable, and customer focused professionals who can represent our company to the highest standards. Knowledge of the Pontypool area and its local community is a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Provide a safe and secure environment for all patrons, staff, and visitors. Control entry and exit of customers in accordance with venue policies. Conduct thorough ID checks and manage queue control professionally. Monitor crowd behavior and intervene where necessary to prevent incidents. Defuse and manage conflict situations calmly and effectively. Support and cooperate with colleagues, management, and local authorities. Follow all operational instructions from the Head Door Supervisor or Senior Management. Ensure compliance with all licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and venue rules. Maintain accurate incident reports and logs as required. Deliver exceptional customer service being firm but fair at all times.

Requirements

Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential). Minimum 2 years of experience working as a door supervisor or in a similar role. Physically capable with a strong and professional appearance (client request). Fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Confident, assertive, and respectful in dealing with all individuals. Ability to work well within a team and assist colleagues when needed. Knowledge of Pontypool and the local area (advantageous). Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
