Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to handle conflict, and a commitment to loss prevention. The Door Supervisor will oversee entry and exit points, ensuring compliance with safety regulations while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Monitor the entrance and exit points of the venue to ensure safety and security protocols are followed. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage within the venue. Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of all patrons. Manage crowd control during busy periods, ensuring a smooth flow of guests while maintaining order. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required. Maintain accurate records of incidents, actions taken, and any relevant communications. Uphold a professional appearance and conduct at all times, representing the venue positively.

Experience

Previous experience in a security role or as a Door Supervisor is preferred but not essential. Certification in First Aid is desirable; training may be provided for suitable candidates. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people. A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution is essential.
