Overview

We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent observational skills, a calm demeanour, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment.

Duties

Conduct thorough checks of individuals entering the premises, ensuring compliance with security protocols Respond promptly to any incidents or disturbances, maintaining a calm and professional attitude at all times Provide first aid assistance when necessary, following established health and safety procedures Maintain accurate records of incidents, visitor logs, and security reports Enforce venue policies in a courteous manner while ensuring the safety of all attendees and staff Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or hazards

Qualifications

Previous experience in security is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Valid security licence or certification recognised by local authorities is preferred First aid certification is highly desirable Excellent observational skills with an eye for detail Strong communication skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods and carry out patrols around the venue

This role is Friday & Saturday, Applicant must be available both days

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
