We are actively recruiting for several SIA licensed studio security officers to join our growing team.

Shifts: Nights

Shift Times: 19:00-07:00

This is a full-time position with a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, which will be discussed at interview stage. The security officers at Shepperton Studios are essential to maintaining a secure and safe environment for the production teams, employees, visitors, assets, and intellectual property. Their role includes monitoring access points, conducting purposeful patrols, responding to emergencies, and delivering excellent customer service. Vigilance, attention to detail, and professionalism are crucial to protecting the studio from potential risks and ensuring smooth operations.

Position based in Shepperton, Surrey.

Qualifications and Training Requirements:

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a security officer role or similar is required (corporate security industry experience is preferred).

Vetting:

Applicants for this position will have access to sensitive information. As such, candidates must either hold the necessary vetting clearance or be willing to complete the vetting process, including a 5-year work history check in compliance with BS 7858 standards and a Right to Work in the UK verification, prior to starting the role.

Security Officer Attributes:

License and Education:

SIA Licence: A valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence is required to operate as a security officer. Full Driving License preferred: For studio site driving. Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; additional training in security management or related fields is an advantage.

IT Skills:

Basic Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite) for documentation, reporting, and communication. Surveillance Systems Knowledge: Basic understanding of CCTV systems and their operation, including familiarity with camera types and recording equipment.

Training and Development:

Emergency Response Training: Training in how to respond to emergencies, including medical incidents, fire alarms, and security breaches. First Aid Certification: Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred to assist in medical emergencies. Conflict Resolution Training: Training in conflict resolution techniques to effectively handle disputes and maintain a safe environment. Fire Safety Training: Knowledge of fire safety protocols and the ability to assist in fire drills and evacuations.
