Summary

As a Part-Time SIA Security Guard, you will be essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. Reporting to the Store Manager, your core responsibilities will include surveillance and loss prevention, ensuring the safety of premises. Your premium skills in surveillance will be complemented by relevant abilities in CCTV operation and first aid, allowing you to respond effectively to incidents. We expect you to be vigilant, proactive, and dedicated to upholding the highest standards of security and safety at all times.

Responsibilities

Monitor premises using CCTV and conduct regular patrols to ensure safety and security. Implement loss prevention strategies to deter theft and unauthorized access. Provide first aid assistance when necessary and respond to emergencies effectively. Maintain accurate records of incidents and daily activities. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as required. Uphold SIA standards and protocols to ensure a secure environment.

Qualifications

Valid SIA license Strong surveillance skills to monitor premises effectively Experience in loss prevention strategies Basic first aid certification Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with the public and team members

Experience preferred but not essential as training will be given - Fresh badges welcome.
