Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This role requires keen observation skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to loss prevention strategies.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure the safety of individuals and property. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary. Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, including any actions taken. Collaborate with local law enforcement when required and assist in investigations as needed. Maintain clear communication with team members and management regarding security issues.
Qualifications
Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred but not essential. Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and collaboration. A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
