We are a leading signage company specialising in providing high-quality and innovative signage solutions for businesses across various industries. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Sign Fitter to join our team and help us deliver exceptional service to our clients. As a Sign Fitter, you will be responsible for installing a range of indoor and outdoor signs, including but not limited to: fascia signs, wayfinding systems, digital displays, vehicle graphics and wraps, window graphics and promotional banners. You will be working predominantly across the North East, ensuring that installations are completed to a high standard, on time, and in accordance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Sign Installation:?Install a variety of signage types including vinyl graphics, illuminated signs, non-illuminated signs, posters, banners, and vehicle graphics. Site Surveys:?Conduct site visits to assess and measure locations for signage installation. Provide feedback and recommendations where necessary. Team Collaboration:?Work closely with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure the signage is correctly installed and meets client expectations. Health & Safety Compliance:? Follow health and safety procedures at all times. Maintain a clean and safe working environment on-site. Maintenance and Repairs:?Conduct maintenance work and repairs to damaged signs when required. Quality Assurance:?Ensure all signage installations are caried out safley, are of the highest quality, with attention to detail and precision. Customer Interaction:?Liaise with clients on-site to ensure they are satisfied with the installation and provide guidance on maintaining signage.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in sign fitting or a similar role. Good understanding of sign types, materials, and installation methods. Ability to work at heights (with appropriate training) and use litfs, ladders and scaffolding safely. Competent in using hand tools and power tools related to sign installation. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Full UK driving license (required for travel to sites). CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) is desirable but not essential. IPAF or PASMA certification (for working at heights) would be advantageous. A good understanding of health and safety regulations.
