We are currently seeking an

experienced and motivated Sign Maker & Installer

to join our dynamic team at Signs Express (Exeter) (recently rebranded from KBS Signs) as we enter our next phase of business growth.

Location: Signs Express (Exeter), 11 Newcourt Barton Farm, Clyst Rd, Topsham, Exeter EX3 0DB Salary: Negotiable depending on experience Working Hours: Full-time position, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Travel: A full, clean driving licence

Duties Include:

Operate and maintain large format printers, vinyl cutters and laminators. In-house production. Installing all types of internal and external signage, including fascia and post mounted signs. Application of vinyl onto a variety of substrates including vehicles and window graphics. Interpreting briefs accurately with a great understanding of different signage and manufacturing techniques. Sign making, working with a wide range of substrates including Dibond, acrylics, metals, wood, vinyl and Foamex, to a consistently high standard. Ensuring all installations are completed on time, to budget and to our usual high standards. Following all company procedures and guidelines to ensure all signs are fitted safely and securely. Taking responsibility for your own and others' health and safety when working. Ensuring Risk Assessments and Method Statements are understood and followed. Providing outstanding customer service to our clients and others at all times.

What we would like from you:

A minimum of two years' industry experience making and installing a wide range of signage solutions. Experience in the use of wide format printers, vinyl plotters and laminators together with a strong understanding of signage and manufacturing techniques is essential. Proven experience in a sign fitting role is absolutely necessary, encompassing vehicle graphics application, panel application, installation and use of relevant software packages. You will have a positive, can-do attitude, be well organised and be able to work alone as well as part of our team. Good working knowledge of design and RIP software. The ability to interpret briefs accurately. IPAF/PASMA/CSCS accreditations (desirable but not essential). Clean driving licence. Professional, flexible, enthusiastic individual, a strong communicator, well organised and be able to work alone, as well as part of a team. An understanding of the importance of health & safety.
