We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sign Maker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creativity and craftsmanship, along with the ability to work with various materials and tools. As a Sign Maker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality signs that meet client specifications while ensuring safety and efficiency in the production process.

Responsibilities

Operate power tools and machinery such as printers and routers to fabricate signs from various materials, including wood, metal, and plastic. Installation of signs such as shop fronts, vehicle graphics and floor marking stickers. Assemble components of signs according to design specifications and client requirements. Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance as needed. Maintain a clean and organised workspace within the warehouse environment to ensure safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines when operating machinery and handling materials.

Requirements

Proven experience in sign making or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Proven experience in printing wide format and or using CNC routers. Experience working in a warehouse setting is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
