Signage / Graphics Operative

We are seeking a skilled signage / graphics operative to join our team based on the Docks in Preston. This is a full time job, in person at our Preston site

The ideal candidate will already have the necessary experience in the production of a wide range of printed, cut and manufactured large format graphics and signage.

These will be produced and finished on a variety of roll to roll, flatbed and cutting equipment.

Some fitting experience of general signage will be an added bonus.

The successful candidate will join small team manufacturing all forms of graphics to customer requirements.

This is not a graphic designer's post - we require a production operative, not design

Key responsibilities

Operating a range of print and cutting equipment including roll to roll Latex, UV flatbed, Router & Summa plotter.

Applying laminates and operating laminator equipment

Manufacturing and finishing various types of signage

Meeting tight deadlines

Installing a range of signage including fascia signs.

Removing old graphics and preparing surfaces on site

Required Experience & Skills

Knowledge of digital printing and sign making

Working knowledge of cutters & finishing equipment

Knowledge of various types of signage materials

Ability to lift to to 25Kg

Valid drivers licence & ability to drive a van

Ability to read and understand written instructions

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work at heights
