The Role - Asphalt Manager:

Asphalt Manager will lead the day-to-day operations of asphalt testing and quality assurance, ensuring all testing meets industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. You'll be responsible for supervising site testing, coordinating team activities, ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies, and acting as a key point of contact for clients. Effective resource management and the consistent delivery of high-quality asphalt testing services are critical to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily asphalt testing and quality assurance activities. Supervise asphalt site testing and related laboratory work. Coordinate team workloads and project delivery. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Liaise with clients and provide technical support and updates. Manage resources to maintain high-quality service delivery.

What We're Looking For:

Extensive knowledge of asphalt site testing, bituminous laboratory testing, and pavement investigations. Excellent understanding of asphalt and asphalt testing methodologies. Strong leadership, project management, and team coordination skills. Familiarity with H&S and environmental compliance within construction and civil engineering. Excellent communication skills for client liaison and report writing. Relevant qualifications or certifications in materials testing or civil engineering (preferred). * Previous experience in a similar role within materials testing or civil engineering.
