About Your Role: Simulator Technician / Trainer

Be the driving force behind ASLAV Crew Procedural Training! As an OSR, you\'ll ensure flawless administrative, maintenance, and training support for ASLAV CPTs, following contract specifications. This is a permanent full-time role located in Edinburgh, SA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site and after-hours support for CPT gunnery training upon approval.
  • Offer off-site on-call assistance during non-operational hours.
  • Deploy on-site for up to 6 weeks during Australian deployments.
  • Perform corrective and preventative maintenance for CPTs.
  • Maintain simulator hygiene.
  • Deliver comprehensive training courses for operators, instructors, and maintainers.
  • Customize training scenarios as requested.
  • Liaise with customers for upgrades and improvements.
  • Deliver monthly performance reports.
  • Monitor on-site inventory of spares and supplies.
  • Provide expertise for future simulation projects.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
  • Proficiency in computer maintenance and networking with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Skilled in technical writing and publications management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience in training development and delivery.
  • Excellent communication with customers and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of configuration management processes.
