Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Singing Teacher to join us at Victoria's Voices Vocal and Performance School. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in popular music (pop music) and loves working with kids. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a creative environment and wish to share their love for singing and performance.

This position is for our Coulsdon singing after school club on Fridays at 3:30-4:30pm. The pay is 35 per session.

The singing club is held at a primary school so you'll be teaching children aged 4-11 in a mixed group up to 20 children in a group. The exact location of the school will be shared at the interview, but it's around 12min walk from Coulsdon South Station.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging singing lessons tailored to the skill levels of students. Stage groups for performances and adding simple movements. Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student growth and confidence.

Experience

Previous experience as a singing teacher or in a similar role is highly desirable but not required. Enhanced DBS check is required or in the process of getting. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students. A background in music performance or music training is desirable.
