We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced
Singing Teacher
to join
Love Music School
, delivering a full day of singing tuition at a
secondary school near Brighton
. This role involves teaching
secondary-aged students (11-18)
in both individual and small group settings.
Job Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging singing lessons across a variety of styles, with a strong emphasis on
Pop and Musical Theatre
Support students in developing healthy vocal technique, performance confidence, and musical understanding
Prepare students for performances, graded exams, and auditions where appropriate
Write student progress reports
and maintain up-to-date records of attendance
Arrange lesson timetables
and communicate any scheduling changes
Maintain
good communication with parents
and the school regarding student progress, scheduling, and relevant updates
Work Experience & Skills:
Prior
teaching experience
(school-based or private), ideally with secondary-aged students
Confident teaching
all vocal styles
, with specialism in Pop and Musical Theatre
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Reliable, professional, and able to inspire and motivate young people
Able to provide references upon request
Education:
Music degree
or equivalent professional experience in vocal performance/teaching
Additional Information:
Must hold or be willing to obtain a
DBS check
One full day of teaching available per week (term time only)
