Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced
Singing Teacher
to joinLove Music School
, delivering a full day of singing tuition at asecondary school near Brighton
. This role involves teachingsecondary-aged students (11-18)
in both individual and small group settings.Job Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging singing lessons across a variety of styles, with a strong emphasis on
Pop and Musical Theatre
Support students in developing healthy vocal technique, performance confidence, and musical understanding Prepare students for performances, graded exams, and auditions where appropriateWrite student progress reports
and maintain up-to-date records of attendanceArrange lesson timetables
and communicate any scheduling changes Maintaingood communication with parents
and the school regarding student progress, scheduling, and relevant updatesWork Experience & Skills:
Prior
teaching experience
(school-based or private), ideally with secondary-aged students Confident teachingall vocal styles
, with specialism in Pop and Musical Theatre Excellent communication and organisational skills Reliable, professional, and able to inspire and motivate young people Able to provide references upon requestEducation:
Music degree
or equivalent professional experience in vocal performance/teachingAdditional Information:
Must hold or be willing to obtain a
DBS check
One full day of teaching available per week (term time only)Company Info:
