We don't mean to brag... but we're kind of a big deal! ;)
Theatretrain
is the UK's premier organisation for training kids in Theatre. In short, we teach classes in singing dance and drama to kids aged 4-18yrs.
We've offer a 3hr session on a Saturday for 6-18yr olds and a 90min session for our 4-5yr olds. Each session includes singing dance and drama. We've been running these classes for over 30 years and we are the only children's Theatre Company to perform regularly in the West End and the Royal Albert Hall in large numbers.
We are now recruiting for an amazing singing teacher to join our Letchworth branch.
We've got the
kids
...
We've got the
venue
...
We just need
you!
We're looking for an experienced creative Singing Teacher to join our creative team
We've done the maths... and average monthly wage would be 300 per month.
Reasons Why We're An Amazing Place To Work
1. We only work
Saturdays
2. Additional training is provided
3. Only work school term time
4. Extra work covering at our Stevenage Centres is available
5. We're a cool, hip, fun group of Theatrical people (trust us!)
6. We take our kids to perform at fab venues like Sadlers Wells and even the Royal Albert Hall.
7. You have creative freedom over what you teach
PLUS
: we actually help hundreds of kids to grow in confidence, make new friends, and help them succeed in life - and that feels soooooo good!
Is this the single GREATEST teaching job in the entire WORLD?! Probably.... maybe... you tell me! ;)
And here's why:
We're not a start-up. We've been doing what we do for over 30 years. And what we do is teach kids all about Theatre. As such... we're pretty good at it ourselves!
PLUS
: You'll have the support of the rest of the team (who are kind of 'da bomb') in creating work for our large scale productions at the Royal Albert Hall
Our Sessions are great. We already have a great bunch of kids eager to learn. And for the right creative person, it should be easy to slot right in!
Let's Talk Money:
Wages start at 20 ph, but once you have completed all our Theatretrain onboarding which introduces you to our way of working wages go up to 25ph. To earn more than that is possible, but you need to become legendary to the team. That means living and breathing the Theatretrain way, being creative in all that you do, attending our annual creatives conference and basically we can't live without you.
