Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and engaging
Singing Tutor
to lead an after-schoolSinging Club
at a primary school located20 minutes from Reading
. This role provides the opportunity to inspire children through singing, helping them develop confidence, musical skills, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment.The club runs for
one hour per week, 3:30pm - 4:30pm
, on eitherWednesday or Thursday
, giving children a weekly chance to enjoy singing and build their performance skills.Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise children during singing activities, creating a safe and encouraging environment. Plan and deliver age-appropriate sessions that develop vocal skills, confidence, and creativity. Encourage teamwork, self-expression, and enthusiasm for music. Maintain clear communication with parents and school staff about children's progress. Ensure the rehearsal space and equipment are safe, organized, and ready for use.
Experience & Skills
Experience teaching or leading singing sessions for children. Ability to motivate and engage children in a structured, fun, and creative way. Strong communication skills in English for interacting with children, parents, and school staff. A background in music education is highly desirable.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 per week
