Site Agent - Residential Construction

Location: Barrow-in-Furness New Housing Development | Full-Time | Competitive Salary + Benefits Wage: Competitive/Negotiable

We're looking for an experienced and driven

Site Agent

to lead operations on a

busy residential construction site

in

Barrow-in-Furness

. This exciting project involves the delivery of high-quality new homes, and we need a confident leader who can ensure everything runs smoothly on-site, from groundwork to handover.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and budgets are met Manage and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers Monitor health & safety compliance and conduct regular site inspections Liaise with project managers, local authorities, and clients Produce regular progress reports and maintain accurate site records Solve problems proactively to keep the project on track
What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in a Site Agent or similar role within residential construction Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills Up-to-date knowledge of health & safety regulations Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project plans A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills
