Job Description

Evans Construction are seeking a Site Agent to support on a bridge project near Oswestry, Shropshire. The role will involve overseeing aspects of project delivery including planning, technical supervision and site safety compliance, working as a sub-contractor.

We work with a number of repeat Clients including Local Authorities, Water Authorities and private companies across the West Midlands/ North Wales area. The role is primarily on our highways maintenance contracts, incorporating road maintenance, bridges and structures, S278 works and general civil works.

Position is available on a PAYE or self-employed basis.

The Role

Oversee daily operations on site. Set out works in accordance with drawings and specifications. Ensure accurate levels and measurements. Lead and manage day-to-day on-site operations and subcontractors Ensuring Method Statements and Risk Assessments completed for all aspects of works Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines and report to Contracts Manager. Maintain accurate site records and reporting

Required Qualifications:

Experience with civils infrastructure, including bridge construction, earthworks, drainage, S278. Strong knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and legal regulations Experience of working within the civil engineering industry UK driving licence Managers (Black) CSCS card

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Site Agent or in Civil Engineering Strong knowledge of groundworks, drainage, highways, or infrastructure projects SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
