Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a Site Carpenter. This role is essential for executing various construction tasks and ensuring high-quality workmanship across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fabrication, assembly, and general construction skills, demonstrating proficiency with both hand and power tools.

Duties

The person will be responsible for a range of duties, including but not limited to:

Installing and removing fire doors to manufactures specificatio. Utilising hand tools and power tools effectively and safely Performing carpentry and joinery tasks to create durable structures Engaging in roofing activities, ensuring proper installation and maintenance Conducting heavy lifting as required for various construction materials Undertaking construction painting to enhance the aesthetic appeal of completed projects Assisting with plumbing tasks, ensuring systems are installed correctly Carrying out masonry work, including bricklaying and stonework

Requirements

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, roofing, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work is highly desirable Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team A valid health and safety certification is an advantage
