As a Site Compliance Manager, you'll be working as part of the in-house maintenance team to manage, monitor and improve the health and safety standards within our workplace, ensuring it is legislatively compliant and meets organisational standards . You'll working closely with the central Health & Safety team to support investigations on near-miss events and accidents to ensure effective corrective action is taken, including carrying out annual reviews.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Carrying out Site Compliance inspections, ensuring equipment, tools and PPE are compliant and issued to the correct operatives.
Carry out compliance checks on Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) and Asbestos audits.
Provide expert health and safety guidance to the team, through structured toolbox talks and supporting on relevant training, such as working from heights.
Ensure waste is disposed of correctly following on from maintenance works.
Collect and interpret site compliance data, providing regular reports for senior management.
Our ideal candidate? Your CV and covering letter will highlight the following:
IOSH / NEBOSH qualified OR a relevant qualification in a construction, compliance or health and safety related field.
Experience of working within a housing or repairs and maintenance setting.
Experience of carrying out audits and ensuring compliance with maintenance related works, including Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs).
