Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Site Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, excellent project management skills, and proficiency in various design software.

Duties

Collaborate with Site Staff , contractors, and other stakeholders to develop project plans and specifications. Utilise AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and other CAD software to create detailed schematics and system designs. Conduct land surveying and site assessments to determine project feasibility. Manage project timelines and resources effectively to ensure successful delivery. Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Prepare reports on project status, including any issues or delays that may arise. Assist in the preparation of budgets and cost estimates for projects. Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical support as needed.

Qualifications

A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field would be an advantage but not essential. Proficiency in project management methodologies is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of engineering software including Mathcad and ArcGIS. Experience in construction processes and land surveying techniques is advantageous. Flexability and a working knowledge of Health and safety from design and construction. Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are crucial for success in this role.
