Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Working Foreman to join our team. This role combines on-site leadership with physical involvement in day-to-day activities. You will be responsible for overseeing site operations, coordinating trades, ensuring health and safety compliance, and delivering projects to high standards, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise site operations and tradespeople.

Work alongside the team to deliver fit-out and construction tasks.

Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Coordinate materials, tools, and labour effectively.

Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and clients as needed.

Complete and submit weekly Health & Safety Return Sheets and ensure all site documentation is up to date.

Conduct site inductions and tool-box talks.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized site at all times.

Monitor quality control and ensure snagging issues are resolved promptly.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a working foreman or similar supervisory role within construction/fit-out.

Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and site protocols.

Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.

Excellent leadership and organisational skills.

Full UK driving licence.

CSCS card (Supervisor or equivalent).

SSSTS or SMSTS qualification (preferred).

First Aid qualification (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 45,000.00 per year
