Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced foreman/forewoman to lead our team on-site. The ideal candidate will possess 5 to 10 years experience in the construction industry with strong supervisory skills and the ability to manage various aspects of construction or manufacturing projects. As a foreman/forewoman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations and manage the work of team members to ensure productivity and quality standards are met. Coordinate tasks and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Provide training and support to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment. Maintain clear communication with project managers and other stakeholders regarding progress and any issues that arise. Prepare reports on project status, including any challenges faced and solutions implemented. Ensure that all tools and equipment are maintained in good working order.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction or manufacturing industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the industry. Ability to communicate effectively with team members at all levels. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and schedules.
