Do you want to build individual, bespoke and dynamic design projects?

We take on design and construction of whole projects in garden design including lighting systems, water features and swimming pools, bespoke timber work, stonework and planting design. We have specialists in both hard and soft landscaping. This role would be varied and hands on.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Forman to oversee and manage landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in landscaping, demonstrating the ability to build gardens while effectively leading a team. This role requires proficiency in reading plans and preferably some level of site and people management. Ideally, this role will be to run a site, build off plans and manage a team of unskilled and semi-skilled people. It is essential to have a lot of experience in building gardens but we are willing to train the right candidate in project management and people management if the right landscaping skills are present. It is a fantastic role for someone who would like to further their career from a landscaper into a managerial position.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the landscaping team. Build gardens to a high level of finish. Read plans and set out complex designs. Manage a team of semi skilled and unskilled landscapers. Need to be able to organise site management and efficient running of the site. Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working condition. Ensure health and safety procudures are met. Monitor project progress and report any issues to management promptly. Uphold safety standards on-site to ensure a secure working environment.
