Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of joinery and construction, demonstrating proficiency in both fabrication and assembly. This role requires a hands-on individual who is comfortable using both hand and power tools, with the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Duties

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures and fixtures according to specifications. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various joinery tasks. Carry out roofing tasks, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to safety standards. Perform construction painting as required, ensuring high-quality finishes. Assist with plumbing and masonry tasks as part of broader construction projects. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Undertake heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.

Qualifications

Proven experience in joinery, carpentry, or a related field is essential. Familiarity with fabrication techniques and assembly processes is highly desirable. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade. Experience in roofing, plumbing, masonry, or electrical work is an advantage. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or moving around on-site.
