Join our team as a Site Labourer Driver
The Site Labourer Driver plays an important supporting role within our Voids Team, helping to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality property maintenance and refurbishment services. You'll provide essential labouring and driving support to trade operatives, ensuring works are completed on time and homes are ready to a high standard.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone reliable, practical and safety-conscious, who enjoys working as part of a team and making a visible difference to our homes and communities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide labouring and driving support to trade operatives across void and maintenance works.
+ Collect, transport and deliver materials, tools and equipment to and from sites.
+ Load and unload vehicles safely, following manual handling and site safety procedures.
+ Carry out a range of labouring tasks including site clearance, demolition, digging, mixing, power washing, fencing and general maintenance duties, including working at height where required.
+ Clear and clean properties and gardens, ensuring waste is disposed of safely and correctly.
+ Carry out daily vehicle checks, reporting defects to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
+ Maintain van stock levels and check the quality and suitability of materials.
+ Use mobile devices (PDA) to receive and complete jobs accurately.
+ Work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors and customers, maintaining professional and respectful communication.
+ Ensure Equality, Diversity and Inclusion is embedded in all interactions and decisions.
+ Identify and report health and safety issues, sharing learning where appropriate.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in a labouring, construction or property maintenance environment.
+ A full valid driving licence and confidence driving for work purposes.
+ Good understanding of health and safety requirements, including manual handling and safe working practices.
+ Ability to carry out physically demanding work in a variety of environments.
+ Strong teamwork and communication skills.
+ A reliable, flexible and proactive approach to work.
+ Basic digital skills, with the ability to use mobile devices and systems.
