EDM design, manufacture and install specialist equipment to a diverse client base. On offer is an opportunity to work for a company that have an excellent reputation. We have a wide variety of prestigious clients on some of the most exciting Military and Civil aviation training engineering projects around the world and these roles are instrumental in developing the future of our business.

We are currently recruiting for team members for a dedicated project team which will involve site work. Please note this role could require travel to our clients site on the South Coast.

From you



Duties and Responsibilities



- Helping with the decommission / installation of specialist training equipment.

- Heavy lifting, moving materials.

- Assisting in the loading and unloading goods and vehicles.

- Use the Stacker Truck and other lifting devices for material movements and loading.

- Maintaining good housekeeping of the site.

- Organise packing, transportation and delivery of materials and equipment as required.

- When attending clients site, provide a professional client interface and ensure good site discipline is maintained.

Key Requirements



- Experience working with mechanical/electrical systems

- Ability to problem solve and work from verbal instructions

- Previous experience in a commercial environment or shopfitting experience

- Effective planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work well within a team or unsupervised when necessary

- Good work and team working ethic

- Ideally hold first aid certification

- Ideally hold a current Forklift / Counterbalance certification

- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering an excellent service

- Ability to achieve UK security clearance is essential

- Due to the nature of the client contract, candidates must be a UK national, no dual nationality will be permitted

- Flexibility to work overtime and potentially travel within the UK

Contract length: 9 months

Pay: 15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
